ProductLynk (“the App”) provides product syncing and linking between Shopify stores (“the Service”) to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.
Personal Information the App Collects
When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:
- Store information, such as your store name, store URL, and contact email
- Product information, such as products, variants, images, collections, and inventory details
- Basic account information about the store owner, such as name and email address
We collect this information to provide the Service — syncing and linking products between connected stores — and to communicate with you about your account.
The App does not collect or store personal information about your customers.
Additionally, we may collect technical information when you use the App, including log data, usage data, and error reports, which we use to operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
How Do We Use Your Personal Information?
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and operate the Service, including syncing product data between your connected stores
- Communicate with you, including support and important service updates
- Optimize and improve the App
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations
Sharing Your Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with service providers that help us operate the Service (for example, cloud hosting providers), and only to the extent necessary to provide the Service.
We may also share your information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
Data Retention
We retain the information described above for as long as you have the App installed. When you uninstall the App, we delete your store’s data in accordance with Shopify’s mandatory data-erasure webhooks, generally within 48 hours of receiving the erasure request from Shopify.
Your Rights
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise these rights, please contact us through the contact information below.
Additionally, please note that your information may be transferred outside of your region, including to Canada and the United States, where our service providers operate.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The latest version will always be available at this page.
